DRANK DISINFECTANT
FARMER’S FATAL MISTAKE from Our Own Correspondent. TE PUKE, Tuesday. The death occurred at Te Teko yesterday of Mr. Thomas Hardy as the result of accidentally drinking some disinfectant. He was 53 years of age, and was highly respected by all who knew him. Mr. Hardy left England for Australia 29 years ago, coming to New Zealand 25 years ago. He took up farming, and during the past 17 years had resided at Te Teko. He was a keen spcrtsrr..an and took great interest in athletics. He leaves a wife and family of three sons.
