EDEN Ruth Chatterton, Leivis Stone and Raymond Hackett, all players prominent in dramatic acting, have the leading roles in “Madame X,” a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer talkie which is now screening at the Crystal Palace Theatre. The production, which abounds in thrills and tense situations, is one of the most entertaining films shown at the theatre this season. In addition to the main picture several interesting talkie supports arc shown. BRITANNIA, THREE LAMPS “The Donovan Affair,” the all-talk-ing mystery-thriller now providing excitement at the Britannia Theatre, Three Lamps, stars Jack Holt as a police detective who is called in to solve a murder at a wealthy country house.
