IS ENTENTE DEAD?
COMMENT ON BRITAIN’S RELATION TO FRANCE LEANING TOWARD AMERICA PARIS, Saturday. Writing in the “Echo de Paris,” “Pertinax” refers to what he calls “England’s American policy." The writer expresses the opinion that the Entente Cordiale is now dead and that England has no desire for a special understanding with France. The Puritan spirit is at present uppermost, says the article. The only thing for France to do is to await the turn of the wheel.
