MOTOR-CYCLING MISHAPS
COLLISION WITH TAXI-CAB A collision with the rear of a taxicab at the corner of Great North Road and Surrey Crescent, Grey Lynn, last evening, resulted in a motor-cyclist, William Alfred White, aged 18. receiving a fracture of the arm and head injuries, while the end of one finger was torn off. The injured youth, who lives at Wharf Road, New Lynn, was taken to ihe Auckland Hospital. His condition this morning is stated to be not. serious. A fracture of the leg was suffered by Mr. Ernest Poole. aged 19, of Maramarua, Hauraki Plains, as the result of a collision between his motorcycle and a motor-car, at the intersection of Great South. Road and Tamaki Road at noon on Saturday. After receiving treatment at Papatoetoe he was removed to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His condition this morning is reported to be not serious.
