Deliveries from New Zealand this week were 1,543 tons; in store from New Zealand this week, 4,043 tons. Australian salted, 152 s to 1565; unsalted, 158 s to 1625. Argentine unsalted, 150 s to 1545. Danish, 171 s f.0.b., 176 s to 178 s spot. Dutch unsalted, 186 s to 18 3s. Siberian, 1565. Polish, 142 s to 148 s. The market is slow, with prices irregular. Retail prices are unchanged. New Zealand, Is 8d; Danish, Is 9d. CHEESE New Zealand white, 87s to 88s; coloured, 85s to 86s. Deliveries from New Zealand this week, 17,458 crates; in store, New Zealand, this week, 30,612 crates. Canadian white and coloured, 96s to 98s; exceptional quality, 100 s. Deliveries, Canadian, 8,440 boxes; in store, 176,327. Australian white, S6s; coloured, 84s to 85s. The market is quiet and retail prices unchanged. English finest farmers’, 110 s to 116 s. STOCKS IN LONDON The estimated stocks of all butters held in store in London in private and provincial stores at January 1 were 11.500 tons, compared with last year, 9,000 tons. The estimated stocks of cheese at London, Liverpool, and Bristol at January 1 were: Canadian, 213.500 boxes; New Zealand and Australian. 36,200 cwt. SHIPPING MOVEMENTS The Remuera commenced to discharge her butter on December 26 and finished the discharge of cheese on December 28. The Corinthic commenced to discharge cheese on January 2. Amalgamated Dairies, Ltd., from London under date January 4. — ‘Butter: Our prices unchanged. Anchor, 160 s. Market weak and depressed. Continued absence of general buying with Danish slump producing several weak sellers. Heavy arrivals also causing forced liquidation. Danish, 1765; on spot, 168 s to 170 s, f.o.b. Deliveries of New Zealand past fortnight 2,290 tons. Stock, 4,032 tons. Retails unchanged. Cheese: White, 87s: market steady. Coloured, 84s to 85s, market slow; Canadian, 96s to 98s; market quiet.
