GERMANY ESTABLISHES FRIENDSHIP CLOSER TRADE TOUCH Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Friday. “The Times” Dublin correspondent says the first step toward the establishment of a German Legation in Dublin was taken when Dr. Georg Vondehn, the Consul-General, presented his credentials as Charge D’Affaires. Pie expressed the hope that this was the beginning of direct diplomatic relations which would lead to closer trade and cultural relations between Germany and Ireland.
