The New Year has arrived and for each individual a new leaf has turned to record another chapter in their Book of Life. .° n looking back over the old chapter, has it shown a constant endeavour to keep the good resolutions formed at its commencement 7 Are there no regrets at opportunities missed, of half-hearted efforts or slackness in overcoming difficulties? The mortal never existed who did not form some good resolution for the New Year and it is hoped there will be many relating to gardening, for many have failed to realise what an intensely interesting hobby gardening is and how it helps'to spend the golden hours and reflects joy and .sunshine upon the world generally.
