“THE GIRL IN THE SHOW” The attractive programme which is delighting audiences at the Roxv Theatre, is headed by “The Girl in the

Show," an absorbing film dealing with the experiences of a travelling musical comedy troupe. The leading feminine role is taken by Bessie Love, the charm-, ing actress who appeared with notable success in “The Broadway Jelody.” Her

dancing is a feature of the production and she is also heard in some charming vocal numbers. Other members of the cast are Raymond Hackett and Mary Doran, both of whom are responsible for convincing portrayals. A fine selection of shorter talking pictures is shown. A brand-new bagful of riding tricks is uncorked by Ken Maynard with the add of his famous horse “Tarzan” in “The Wagon Master,” exciting Universal talking Western picture coming to the Roxy next week. Harry J. Brown directed the picture with an eye to action and excitement throughout. Included in the cast are Edith Roberts, Frederick Dana, Tom Santschi, A 1 Ferguson and little Jackie Hanlon. Marian Jackson wrote the story, which deals with the wagon trains which carried supplies to mining camps in pioneer days.
