The fourth annual tournament under the auspices of the Waikato East Association was commenced at Matamata today and will be continued at the week-end. Bartleet (Auckland) and Laurenson (Matamata) played three exhibition sets, which were much appreciated by those present, and as the Aucklander is staying in the district on holiday, there is a possibility of the New Zealand doubles champions meeting again.
