AUSTRALIAN BREAKS RECORD Press Association WANGANUI, Wednesday. The Australian champion swimmers, Griffiths and Ryan, competed at Gopville this evening. Ryan established a new Wanganui record for the halfmile, doing the distance easily in 11m 58 2 -ss. Griffiths created a new record of 2m 35s for 220 yards.
