LUNA PARK
OPEN ALL THIS WEEK Luna Park, Auckland’s home of thrills and laughs, continues an uninterrupted run of success, and it seems that Aucklanders can never tire of the manifold attractions, this unique pleasure ground has to offer. The area lias been thronged since the opening of the season, and fully justifies the title it has earned as “Xew Zealand’s Coney Island.” A great number of new features have been introduced this year, and, in addition to the old devices, such as the scenic railway, river caves, whip, caterpillar, fun factory, joy wheel, “goofy” house and dodg-’ems, patrons are now flocking to see Jolly Hay, “the world’s fattest girl,” Elsia, “half-man, half-woman,” and the sensational “Pig-a-dilly twins,” featuring a clever team of performing pigs. A special day session will be held tomorrow. Buses run to the park from the bottom of Queen Street.
