WESTMINSTER SINGERS

NEW PROGRAMME TONIGHT Glees, part and folk songs and national airs were woven into an entertaining concert programme which the Westminster Glee Singers presented to an enthusiastic audience in the Town Hall Concert Chamber last evening. The performances of the boy soloists and the choir were of a particularly high standard, each number being treated according to its light. The compositions were well-selected, the English folk songs N perhaps being most popular. The season has been so successful that it is to be extended until Saturday evening, and undoubtedly the additional concerts will be warmly welcomed by music-lovers. There will be special matinees on Thursday and Saturday afternoons. A very attractive new programme has been arranged for this evening.
