r |' , HE third day’s racing of the Auckland Racing Club's summer meeting is to be held at Ellerslie tomorrow. Star items on the card are the A.R.C. Handicap, of £1.500. 1 miles, and the Great Northern Derby, of £3.000, IX miles. Acceptances for tomorrow's programme closed at midday today, together with the brief review by “Early Bird/’ will be found on the late news page of this issue. The meeting concludes on Thursday, one of the most interesting events scheduled for the day being the Royal Stakes, of £I.OOO. six furlongs, for two and three-year-olds. Included in the field are Eaglet, Hunting Cry, Praise, Cylinder and Royal Ruler.
