ARREST AFTER CHASE
BURGLARY AT NELSON TWO MEN CHARGED Press Association NELSON, Today. The Nelson railway station was broken into last night , but the burglars were disturbed before any money was taken. Constable E. F. Smith, who was on night duty, carried out a very smart piece of work. Hearing a noise in the station he went to investigate. After a long chase in the station yard one man was caught, and an hour or so later another man was arrested in bed in a boarding-house in Nelson. This morning Alexander Kyle and Lewis Arthur Courtney were charged with breaking into the station and remanded to January 13.
