RABBITER KILLED

GUN GOES OFF IN FENCE I’ress Association DUNEDIN, Today. A single man, John Pringle, aged 55, of Green Island, was found dead yesterday about two miles from Green Island, with a bullet wound in the throat. The indications were that deceased, who had been rabbiting, had accidentally shot himself while getting through a fence. An inquest was opened this morning and was adjourned 3ine die.
