AUCKLAND TROTTING CARNIVAL TOMORROW’S FINE CARD The Auckland Trotting Club's summer carnival, which has been productive of intensely interesting and exciting sport since its commencement, will reach finality at Alexandra Park tomorrow, Tho popularity of the light-harness sport with both tho male and female population of the Auckland Province has never been more strikingly illustrated than during the progress of the present carnival. Launched on Friday. when such stirring contests as the Auckland Cup. Rowe Cup and Great Northern Derby were staged, continued on Saturday with thrilling events as produced in the Champion Stakes, Summer Handicap and Epsom Trot, the function has to date proved one of the greatest ever seen, not only in Auckland, but in the Dominion. Public enthusiasm has reached such a high pitch that a continuity of the success so far achieved is assured tomorrow, when the long-to-be-remem-bered trotting carnival will terminate. Another interesting card will come up for decision, the chief heats, President’s Handicap, Association Trot and Onslow’ Handicap (in which the crackajack pacers and trotters will again bo seen in action), will provide fans with plenty of enjoyment and excitement.
