DRANK OWN BLOOD
DEATH FROM THIRST IN AUSTRALIAN BUSH DISCOVERY BY SEARCHERS Reed. Noon. BRISBANE, Today. Naked and with a large wound on his wrist, from which he had sucked his own blood in an effort to save himself from death by thirst, the body of William Garems was found on a bush track near Townsville a few days ago. His emaciated horse was seen near a dry waterhole and searchers, following the horse’s tracks, found the body.
