SHARK SENSATION

LIFESAVERS RESCUE BATHERS SWAM CLOSE TO MONSTER Reed. Noon. SYDNEY, Today. There was a sensation at the Narrabeen Beach when four bathers were caught by a current and carried out. Simultaneously, a large shark was seen cruising round. Life-savers courageously donned belts and succeeded in reaching those iu trouble; but the lines were severed by jagged rocks and the life-savers discarded their belts and brought the patients ashore. During the swim to the beach a shark swam within a few feet of one of thp life-savers. Two sharks were caught in the harbour yesterday, one at Newington, where children had been swimming only a few minutes before.
