BILLIARDS RECORDS

LINDRUM AND SMITH IN GOOD FORM THREE THOUSANDS Reed. 11 a.m. LONDON, Thursday. New- world’s records were created on Christmas Day by Walter Lindrum (Australia), who made two breaks of more than 1.000 in consecutive innings in an afternoon. One break was completed from an overnight unfinished 900. Lindrum is the first player to accomplish the feat in a single session.
