CRYSTAL PALACE, MT. EDEN
' One of the sweetest love stories ever told is the tuneful production, “Lucky in Love,” now at the Crystal Palace Theatre.
It is an all-talkie complete with many new musical numbers played and sung by Morton Downey, a popular Broadway songster. It is primarily a romantic tale of the love of a. stable boy for a great lady, barred by the barriers of rank in Ireland, but free in America.
In addition to the sweet voice of Morton Downey, there will be harp playing by Paul Suerth, and songs by Betty Lawford.
“Bulldog Drummond,” the all-talk-ing version of Sapper’s fine story, will also be shown, with Ronald Colman in the leading role.
