A GOOD MOVE

f'PHE Hawke’s Bay Trotting Club, one of the most progressive organisations connected with the sport in the Dominion, has made an alteration in the dates o.f its next fixture, which will meet with the approval of owners and trainers generally. Latterly the club’s meeting was held in June, but the Trotting Association has sanctioned a change, and this season the Hastings carnival will eventuate on March 15 and 17. These dates follow directly, after the Manawatu fixture and will admirably suit owners who intend patronising both meetings.
