THROWN FROM MOTOR-CYCLE

ACCIDENT AT SPEEDWAY Abrasions to his face were suffered by Mr. J. Jordan, aged 22, of Selwyn Road, Kohimarama, as the result of falling from his motor-cycle while practising at Western Springs Speedway yesterday afternoon. Mr. Jordan had lapped the cinder circuit several times, and was slowing down to leave the track when his machine skidded and he was thrown on to the cinders. He was removed to the Auckland Hospital, where his condition is regarded as satisfactory.
