LUNA PARK
OPEN THIS EVENING Crowds of jolly merrymakers thronged'Luna Park yesterday afternoon and evening, and enjo> ed to the full the many devices and attractions. There were long queues for many of the devices, particularly the scenic railway, on which everyone goes to experience the old thrill. _ The side-show attractions this year are really most interesting. There is a fascinating mystery entitled “Death on the Guillotine,” in which a young lady is beheaded by the guillotine in full view of the audience. Then there is a clever trained monkey, Cannon Ball Joe, who drives his own motorcar: and finally. Margie Van Camp s trained pigs, which can do almost everything. Particular attention centred round “Jolly Ray,” the world’s fattest girl, who weighs over 41st. and “Elsia, the Half-man, Half-Woman.”
The park will be open again this evening and all day tomorrow.
