SHOTS AT PRESIDENT
ATTACK IN BUENOS AYRES FAILS ASSAILANT KILLED BUENOS AYRES, Tuesday. A would-be assassin fired three shots at the President, Dr. Hipolito Irigoyen, as he left his residence and entered a motor-car to go to Government House. All the shots went astray. The President’s bodyguard promptly drew their revolvers and shot the assailant dead.
