ART MASTERPIECES

ALL SAFELY ASSEMBLED AT LONDON British Official. Wireless RUGBY, Monday. The transport of the masterpieces which have been assembled at Burlington House, London, for next month’s exhibition of Italian art, has been effected without a hitch. Most of the works have come from Italy, but many were drawn from private and other sources in England, Scotland, America, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Hungary, and France. An attractive feature of the exhibition will be a series of lectures, to be given weekly by leading authorities on art, in January and February. Also, there will be free soirees and musicales illustrative of the most important types of Italian music, from the sixteenth century to the present time.
