CHAPLAINS’ FAREWELL

CAPT. REDMOND ENTERTAINED This morning the members of the Chaplains’ Board of the Northern Military Command nret at the J.C.L. Tearooms to entertain Captain H. J. Redmond, military representative on the board, prior to his retirement. Those present included Brigadier H. R. Potter, C.M.G., officer commanding the Northern Command, Lieut.-Colonel J. E. Duigan, D. 5.0., Archdeacon Hawkins, the Rev. E. T. Olds, the Rev. A. S. Thomson, the Rev. G. Heigh.way, and the Rev. J. Hiddleston. On behalf of the members of the board, Archdeacon Hawkins presented Captain Redmond with a case of pipes, suitably inscribed.

In reply Captain Redmond spoke of the pleasant duty he had enjoyed as liason officer and Brigadier Potter expressed his thanks to the chaplains for their work in camp.
