STRUCK BY STARTING HANDLE
Injuries to the right arm were received by William Thompson, aged 16, of Te Papapa, as the result of the engine of a motor-truck backfiring at Penrose yesterday. The injured youth was removed to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is satisfactory.
