Ltd., from its London office on December 20 stated:—“.Samuel Page and Son report that New Zealand finest white cheese is Is higher, at S9s to 905." Another cablegram to rhe company gives the following reports:—Butter: The ma-ket is very *>low. New Zealand finest salted, 156 s to 160 s; Danish, 168 s to 1725; Australian finest unsalted, 160 s to 1625; Australian finest salted, 154 s to 1575; Australian G.A.Q., 150 sto 1525. Cheese: The market for Canadian is quiet, but New Zealand is steadier. New Zealand white, 88s to 89s; New- Zealand coloured, 87s to 883. Canadian white, 94s to 98s; Canadian coloured, 94s to 98s. DAIRY BOARD’S REPORT The butter market is slow with retail prices unchanged, states th** report on December 20 to the New Zealand Dairy Produce Board from its London office. Prices, with those of the prevlous week in parentheses, are: Butter New Zealand.—Salted, 158 s to 162 s (160 s, 164 s to 1665); unsalted, 182 s to lS4s (180 s to 186 s); first whey, 152 s (1625); second whey, 148 s (150 s). Deliveries New Zealand this week, 2.07 4 tons. In store New Zealand this week, 3,724 tons. Australian.—Salted. 1545. 156 s to 158 s (158 s to 160 s); unsalted, 158 s to 164 s (166 s to 170 s). Argentine.—Unsalted, 152 s to 156 s (158 s to 1625). Danish.—Fo.b.. 165 s (168 s); spot, 3 70s to 172 s (176 s to 180 s). Siberian.—ls6s to 158 s (160 s to 1625).
