The Misses Amy and Olive Chiplin, of Remuera, will stay at Milford over the holidays. * * * Miss Alison Gregg, of Auckland, leaves early this week for a holiday visit to New Plymouth. * * * Mrs. A. Plume:, of Epsom, and her family, with Miss I. Walker, left today for a holiday at Brown’s Bay. Overseas visitors at Hotel Cargen include Mrs. H. King-Irving, of Suva, ani Mrs. F. Variey, of Hollywood. * * * Miss Geraldine Neale, of Stoke, Nelson, is visiting Auckland. She is staying with Dr. and Mrs. Hardie Neil. Miss Gretta Herron, of Remuera, leaves tomorrow for Kawau, where she will spend the Christmas holidays. * * * Miss Ellice Alison, of St. Stephen’s Avenue, has left on the Ilex for a cruise of the Bay of Islands and North Auckland. * * * Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Burt and Miss Burt, of Sea View Road, Remuera, left today for Rotorua, where they will spend a month. Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Stacey, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Lawrie, of Christchurch, are among the guests at the Central Hotel. * * * Visitors at the Grand Hotel include Mrs. Norman Wilkes and Mrs. C. Ballin, of Christchurch; Mrs. Percy Barker, of Gisborne; Miss L. Morrison, of Waiwera, and Miss Barnes, of Wellington. * * * Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Morley, of Melbourne, Mrs. Z. Varney, of Hollywood, Mrs. PI K. Irving, of Suva, Misses M. J. and F. Whelan and Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Taylor, of Wellington, are guests at the Hotel Cargen. * * * Mr. and Mrs. B. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. E. Mrs. K. Raymond, of Auckland, leaves this week for a ten days’ visit to Wellington. Mrs. Raymond will stay at the Midland Hotel.
Miss Winifred Caley, of Epsom, has returned to Auckland after three months’ holiday spent with relatives and friends in the North and South Islands.
Mr. and Mrs. Hood, of Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Enting and Mr. and Mrs. J. Foote, of Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Langton, of Wanganui, and Mr. and Mrs. M. E. McGarry, of Eltham, are staying at the Star Hotel.
