MOTORISTS’ CLOSE CALL SMASH ON RAGLAN ROAT From Our Own Corespondent HAMILTON, Today. A remarkable escape from injury was experienced by the drivers and passengers of two motor-cars • which collided on the Hamilton-Raglan road, about li miles from Raglan, at midday yesterday. Mr. J. Cavanagh, Hamilton, was driving a tive-seater car in the direction of Raglan and was proceeding down hill, when on a sharp bend the car met head-on a sedan car driven by Mr. Gavin, Huntly, in which there were four women. Although Mr. Gavin’s car was extensively damaged, nobodj' was hurt. Mr. Cavanagh’s car was only slightly damaged.
