DEATH OF CONGRESSMAN

United P.A.—By Telegraph Copyright Reed. 9.5 a.m. WASHINGTON, Friday.

A joyful start for Christmas at home, which for one man also meant seeing his new-born baby, ended tragically when an airplane crashed on the Bolling Field, killing five men, including the Massachusetts Congressman, Mr. William Kay nor. The plane had gained an altitude of about 300 feet when the motor failed. The machine crashed swiftly to earth. All four passengers and the pilot died instantly. Mr. Kaynor’s secretary, Captain Harry Dinger, was among those killed. The plane’s destination was Springfield, Massachusetts.

LUFTHANSA AIRPLANE CRASHES BERLIN, Thursday.
