TWO CALLS RECEIVED
REV. J. HUBBARD’S CHOICE
Yesterday the Auckland ry. a special meeting, considered two hearty and unanimous calls to tio Rev. J. Hubbard, MA, 8.D., o’ Drury, received from the congregations at Cashmere Hills Church, Christchurch, and at Xelburri, Wellington, respectively. Commissioners from Drury spoke in terms of high praise of Mr. Hubbard’s work during the past four aad a-half years. Great progress has been made in the charge during this period. Mr. Hubbard then announced his intention of accepting the call to Kelburn. The Moderator, the Rev. W. D. Morrison Sutherland, expressed the Presbytery's regret at Mr. Hubbarl's departure, and a number of other ministers also spoke in similar strain. The Rev. D. C.
