FAMOUS CONCERT PARTY

WESTMINSTER GLEE SINGERS With the addition of three new members their famous company of vocalists. the Westminster Glee Singers, will commence a brief return season in the Town Hall concert chamber on Boxing Night. The Westminster Glee Singers since their last visit have appeared in 44 towns between Auckland and Invercargill and it has proven the most successful concert tour within recent years. The entertainment presented by the Westminsters makes a very, wide appeal to all classes of the community, it is ever artistic without being too highbrow. The charm of the boys’ voices and the supreme artistry of the adult artists combine to make it the ideal entertainment for the masses and unfortunately it is seldom that such a fine musicai organisation is heard in this part of the world. Two new boy sopranos have recently joined the company and Mr. Alfred Cunningham, England’s greatest baritone, comes direct from England. Mr. Cunningham has long enjoyed popularity in this country and there will no doubt be thousands who remember him as a member of the famous Scarlet Troubadours.

Special programmes have been prepared for this return visit and a matinee will be given on Thursday, January 2. The box plans of reserved seats are now
