EGG CAMPAIGN BEGUN
The Communists’ ridiculous project for solving the meat crisis in Russia through the intensive breeding ( ( rabbits, which occupied the pages cf the Moscow Press for a fortnight anl was then dropped, has now been followed by another plan which p-,. poses to feed the starving urbaa population of Russia, says the London “Daily Mail.” The Moscow “Economic Life” report that a number of monster incubators, capable of handling between 10,0(6 and 20,000 eggs, will be near Moscow, Petrograd, and Kier and the tender pullets wil shortly sold to the workers. The plan Is expected greatly l 0 increase egg production. Another means of increasing tit quantities of' eggs, according to tht “Economic Life,” is an egg-laying campaign, following the lines of that, held by the “bourgeoise London newspaper Daily Mail,” and tie journal recommends the DepartmeV of Agriculture to Investigate the' “Daily Mail's” egg contests *nt! imitate them in Russia.
