JAPANESE AND BORNEO.—-A Japanese paper discloses that the Government of Dutch East India and the Mitsui concern are about to sign an agreement for the exploitation of the Borneo oilfield. The British Government has approached the Dutch Government to obtain a postponement «of i .ie signing of the agreement, and for a discussion about the desirability of Japanese settling on the oilfields on the Borneo coast.
