KING TO OPEN PARLEY

Reccl. 10 a.m. LONDON, Tliurs. In the House of Commons, the Prime Minister, Mr. Ramsay MacDonald, announced that the King would deliver the opening address at the Five Powers Naval Conference, which opens in London in the third week in January. The first public plenary meeting will be held in the Royal gallery of the House of Lords. The second plenary meeting of the conference, and all subsequent meetings, will be held at St. James’s Palace, which the King has placed at the disposal of the Government for the duration of the conference. AM questions relating to the subsequent proceedings of the conference, and the holding of further public meetings, will be left for discussion by the conference itself.
