Miss Dorothy Spicer, of Hern© Bay, and Miss Betty Jackson, of Remuera, leave by train tomorrow evening for Russell.
Miss E. Goss Wilson, of St. Leonards Road, Mount Eden, left last evening on a visit to Christchurch and Dunedin.
Mrs. W. Newton-Jones, of Feilding, who is visiting Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. G. F. Ferguson, Birdwood Crescent, Remuera.
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Poulton, of Christchurch, are visiting their son, Mr. Hector Poulton, and Mrs. Poulton’s sister, Mrs. L. Braham, of Herne Bay.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. T. Hardley, Herne Bay, are leaving* this week for Riverton, and will visit Dunedin for the bowling tournament before returning home.
Mrs. L. C. Hilliard, formerly of Auckland, arrived »frorn Sydney by the Marama on Tuesday, to visit her sons. She will return to- Sydney at the end of January.
Mr. and Mrs. T. List, of New Plymouth, Mrs. A. Goatley, of Warkworth, Mr. and Mrs. A. Hamilton, of Gisborne, and Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Barker, of Gisborne, are among the guests at the Grand Hotel.
Mrs. Arthur Bullock, of Auckland, who has been staying with her brother, Captain Donald Simson, at Brantridge Park, the Earl of Athlone’s seat in Sussex, England, will leave for New Zealand by the Cathay.
