CAR HITS UNLIGHTED TRAIN
PASSENGERS GET DAMAGE,?' Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Arthur John Curtis, Arthur Southwell Curtis and Una Curtis petitioned the Crown for compensations as the result of a collision between their car &nd an unlighted -irain moving acitss a siding on the Kutt Road from the Gear Meat Company’s premises. In a reserved judgment Mr. E. Page, S.M., found negligence on the pari of the Railway Department and awarded £73 16s damages. He said he was satisfied that as the car approached there was no adequate light prot.«*cting the train.
