BUS LICENSING
JOINT NORTH SHORE CONTROL Tit© Xo. 2 Xorth Shore Omnibus Licensing Authority, as at present constituted, held its last meeting last evening, when it granted licences for the use of four buses and issued two drivers’ licences. The Devonport Council lias *cted, temporarily, as licensing authority for the past two and a-half years, but from January a body comprising representatives of the four marine boroughs will act. Devonport will be represented by the Mayor and DeputyMayor, Messrs. E. Aldridge and J. Hislop. The Xorth Shore Transport Company commenced running a bus service to Castor Bay this week, an extension of its Bayswater-Milford services. A service licence for this route was issued recently by Xo. 2 Omnibus Licensing mm Authority.
