WESTMINSTER GLEE SINGERS It will be pleasant tidings for those who enjoyed the fine entertainments and the beautiful singing of the Westminster Glee Singers during their previous successful season that they are returning for positively the last time and will give a series of performances in the Town Hall concert chamber commencing on Boxing Night, December 26. Three new artists will make their first appearance on this occasion, Masters Harold Robinson, Jams Humphreys, boy soprano soloists, and Mr. Alfred Cunningham, described as England’s greatest baritone, who is an immense favourite with New Zealand concert audienc3s. Mr. Cunningham comes direct from London and will complete the remainder of the Westminster Glee Singers’ Empire tour. Entirely new numbers will be presented on this return visit and the programmes have been specially chosen by Mr. Branscombe with the view of pleasing all musical tastes. The personnel of the company is Masters Harry Fearn, Douglas Bartrip, Vincent Petley, Norman Clarke, Alan Goodered, Harold Robinson, James Humphreys, Messrs. Donald Reid, William Lowry, Ernest McKinlay, Charles O’Connor, James Barber, Charles Draper, Alfred Cunningham and Edward Branscombe.
