Doubtless Christmas shoppers take full advantage of tomorrowlate night, for only four and a-hal' business days are left.
Ou Christmas Eve and New Year, Eve shops will be open till 10 p B but the usual late night next wee, and in the New Year week will 10 , be observed.
The holidays for shops will be Dr cember 25 and 26, and January la2, iu addition to the usual Saturda, half-holiday. The banks will be closed durisChristmas from Christmas Eve uni Saturda}', December 2S. and at NoYear from December-31 to Januir 3. Those dates, of course, are no inclusive.
The Auckland Stock Exchange will be closed from Monday, December until AYednesday, January 8, inclusive. The legal v acation will extend from Tuesday, December 24, to Timday, January 7, inclusive.
