COMEDIES AT LYRIC

The programme which is delighting audiences at the Lyric Theatre comprises two excellent silent features, each containing a liberal dash of comedy. Dorothy McKaill and Jack Mulhal!, one of the best comedy teams on the screen, have the leading roles in “Ladies' Night in a Turkish Bath,” perhaps the most amusing and entertaining film yet shown at the theatre. Another wellknown combination, "Wallace Beery and Raymond Hatton, have the principal parts in “Now We’re in the Air,” an hilarious record of the inimitable pair aloft. Beery and Hatton are both responsible for excellent portrayals and further enhance their reputations a.s comedians of the highest rank. Several fine shorter supporting films are also shown.
