BIG-GAME FISHING

ENGLISH VISITOR FOR RUSSELL Having enjoyed the thrill of biggame fishing off the coasts of South America, South Africa, in the Mediterranean and the Bosphorus, Mr. J. Marshall, of Comiston, Westmoreland, has come to taste the delights of the sport New Zealand waters offer. Mr. Marshall arrived on the Mahana day. He is making his annual sojourn to the Dominion. An exceptionally keen fisherman, Mr. Marshall last year enjoyed a good angling holiday at Waikaremoana, but so far has not tried his hand at big game in these waters, and is eagerly looking forward to the test. He intends taking a launch to Russell early next month, and will spend four or five months in the sport along the western coast.
