CHILD KILLED: MOTHER INJURED SUICIDE OF ASSAILANT SYDNEY, Tuesday. At Inuisfail, Queensland, Peter Plozza, an Italian, aged about 40, today shot Mrs. Catherine Vedova, with whom he lived at Mourilyan. She was critically injured. Plozza then shot and killed the woman’s daughter, who was 13 years old. The police pursued him into the bush, where he shot himself in the mouth, and then struggled with the police.
