This board, which was in use at the Speedway for the first time last Saturday afternoon, was recently invented and installed by Mr. John Roberts. Each car has a vertical column and the laps are shown in the horizontal columns. The system worked well on Saturday with the only drawbacks that the operators were new to their work and the fact that the motor-cycles raced with the numbers on the wrong side.
