OLD FAVOURITES TO BE REVIVED
J.C.W. ENTERPRISE Several interesting musical productions will be revived in Auckland by the J. C. Williamson Company, which is to do “WTioopee” at His Majesty’s Theatre. Mr. Stanley Grant, manager of the company, who arrived by the Marama this morning, said that after "Whoopee” the company will plav "Lilac Time,” with John Ralston as Shubert, also "The Student Prince” and "The Maid of the Mountains." The season will last tor three weeks, beginning on Boxing Night with “WTioopee,” Some of the members of the company, which has been augmented for the New Zealand tour, have been playing in "The Desert Song” on tour in Australia. Miss Lilian Crisp, who has toured i New Zealand on several occasions with J.C.W. companies, will play the | leading feminine roles. She was last I here with the Gilbert and Sullivan ! Opera Company. Mr Grant came to New Zeeland originally with John Sheridan but ha» [toured th" Dominion on several orr-j----j sions since then.
