THE SEQUEL TO THE MILFORD AIR TRAGEDY was enacted on Saturday, when the bodies of Captain D. E. Harkness, D.F.C., and Mr. C. F. Goldsbro were interred in the Purewa Cemetery. The pictures show, top: The pall-bearers leaving St. Mary’s Cathedral with the body of Captain Harkness. Centre: Placing the coffin of Mr. Goldsbro in the hearse at Newmarket. Lower: The bugler sounding the “Last Post” over the graves at Purewa.
