FATAL COLLISION

RACING MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED CRASHED INTO CAR AT CORNER Press Associatio7i WELLINGTON, Sunday. Fatal injuries were received by Mr. Ron McKenzie, of Karori, a wellknown dirt-track motor-cyclist, in a collision between his cycle and a motor-car which occurred at 3.30 a.m. today at the corner of Yule and Coutts Streets, Wellington. Mr. McKenzie was taken to the hospital in the ambulance suffering from severe head injuries, concussion and shock. He died at 3 p.m. When the accident occurred he was dressed in his racing clothes, as he had been competing at the Kilbirnie Stadium the previous evening. The impact was particularly severe, and the cycle was damaged beyond repair, parts being strewn along the street.
