NORTHCOTE PRESBYTERIANS

PROPOSED NEW CHURCH The general committee of management of the Northcote Presbyterian Church has decided to forward the plans for the erection of the proposed new church to the committee of the General Assembly for approval. As a result of the recent fair in aid of the Church Fund, the sum of £l2O was obtained, making the total amount available for building purposes £B6O. The committee was very gratified at the financial result of the fair, and expressed its gratitude to those who supported the function, j The church will be of a substantial character, built in brick, and of similar design to that recently erected in Huntly. It is expected that the building will be commenced early in the New Year on the site occupied by the old church, which was recently removed by voluntary labour to the rear of the section, and which will in future be used as a Sunday school. v
