GUARD AT MILFORD

THANKS FOR KINDLY RESIDENTS When the wrecked Dornier-Libelle flying-boat was dragged up on the beach at Milford on Thursday evening, a military guard from Narrow Neck was posted to watch the wrecked machine throughout the night. Major L. M. Isitt, officer commanding the Hobsonville Air Base wishes to thank publicly those residents who showed their thoughtfulness by providing comforts and refreshments for the men during their vigil.
